2018 Regular Season Matches
2017 Inter Services - Winners
The RAF arrived at Aldershot full of confidence following an opening match victory over the Royal Navy. However the Senior XV produced probably the best half of rugby of the season to reach half time 28-9 and ensure the RAF would leave empty handed. Final score 35 - 14.
This was followed by a controlled win against the Royal Navy at Twickenham, a match with all the emotion that surrounded the 100th game between these two longstanding rivals. The victory ensured that the Army Senior XV once more had their hands on the Inter Service Trophy.
2017 Regular Season Matches
The Army once again completed a full programme of warm up matches before the 2017 Inter Service Campionship. Early wins over both Universities were followed up with a hard fought game and narrow loss against Russia before the Army returned to winning ways against the British Police. March was a mixed month with a win against Swansea followed by a loss to Bedford in the annual Mobbs Memorial Match. Nottinghams provided some strong opposition during the Army's training camp in Portugal as they completed their preparations for the 2017 Inter Services.
2016 Inter Services
The 2016 Inter Service Championship was one of what might have been. A failure to take chances against the RAF early on allowed the hosts to open up a lead and defend it against a determined Army comeback to squeeze home by the single point.
At Twickenham it was the opposite where the Army took a commanding lead but then allowed the Royal Navy to battle back for the draw, which proved enough for the Royal Navy to win what had been the closest of Inter Service Championships for decades.
